The Day of Defiance – is a long term living installation which came from a very personal experience of mine. What is my past? What is my future? I came from Yugoslavia. Therefore I put myself in the context of defensive body, in constant alert for defiance. In this performance I stand firmly in the middle of the space, holding and violently waving the red flag, performing along with my short film ,Detention Paradise (2009).
